Fly-In Information

This year’s Fly-In will be at the Mebane Arts and Community Center, 622 Corregidor Street, Mebane, NC 27302.  On Friday, February 23, 2018 from 4:45 PM – 7:00 PM the scouts and parents set-up tables and chairs at the center for the exhibitors.  We ask that you get there early so we can get out early.  The more boys and parents we have, the easier this job will be.  (Remember, the troop is paid for setting up the tables and chairs.)


On Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 7:00 AM, we will start getting ready to make breakfast for the visitors who will be arriving around 8:00 AM.  We need 6-8 parents to help us in the kitchen to get breakfast ready.  We will need at least two parents who can monitor the scouts who will be selling breakfast and lunch items to the vendors on the main floor.   


The lunch team will consist of 6-8 parents to help get the food prepared and served.  Please mark on your calendars about bringing the baked goods to sell on Saturday.  Cookies (4-5 in a baggie), brownies, cake, pies, etc. are examples of what we are looking for.  Please wrap all items for individual sale because this will save time. 


If you didn’t sign up to work on Friday afternoon (setting up tables and chairs) just email me and I will add your name to the list.  Saturday morning and afternoon will be our big day.  We need parents and boys to help in various areas all day.  If you haven’t signed up to work on Saturday morning or afternoon, you can email me at and I will add your name to the list.  Remember to indicate your working hours.  Breakfast will start around 7:30 and end around 10:30 - 10:45. Lunch will start around 10:45 and end around 2:15 - 2:30.


We need parents and scouts to come back around 2:45 PM to take down the tables and chairs and load the tables onto the truck.  The more people we have, the faster we will finish.
